New S*per M*rio Illustration

Here’s the next piece in my “behind the scenes” S*per M*rio series. I mixed two ideas I had. One, what do the plumbers eat during their adventure? And two, I wanted to do something with the height difference between “regular size” and “super size”.

I felt that I should post up the first version of this illustration. Not being a Mario fan, I wanted Luigi laughing at Mario but it just didn’t look right. My brother pointed out that if I swap the characters it would make the size difference more obvious (because Luigi is normally taller than Mario).
