Evening in West New York
Here’s my last illustration of 2024. It looks a little different from my others. I took a picture of these steps at 66th street in West New York, NJ once and it reminded me of a Hasui Kawase nighttime print. So I tried going a little shin-hanga while still painting my style.

Deer! In North Bergen, New Jersey
During the pandemic I saw Deer at the local park. Seeing as it’s surrounded by a city, I imagined them walking the city streets. Probably at night.
